Ready to leave

On my way to Spain, I stopped to visit Williams for a few days; however, I got delayed on the way there partially due to snow, and I had to leave Williams early to make it to New York before another snow storm hit.  So, I'm currently in a hotel near JFK, and I have a day to waste here in New York, so I decided to start this blog.  Unfortunately, I think it will be too snowy tomorrow to wander around on foot from the hotel.  Maybe I'll just head to the airport and read for the whole day.  Anyway, I hope the rest of the trip goes smoother than the last few days.  I'm so excited though!  I can't wait to meet everyone in my program tomorrow (assuming they can all get in to New York) and my host family the day after.  :-)
